Tasks

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support business growth.
• Handle tax filings, VAT returns, and regulatory compliance as required.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial transitions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely employee tax deductions.
• Support external audits and liaise with financial institutions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and company policies.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and accounting best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an accountant
• Relevant qualifications or training in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Quickbooks, Sage)
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work remotely.
